Kayla Marmaros, LMHC

I am a compassionate licensed mental health counselor who is committed to helping relieve distress and guide individuals to their greatest potential. I strive to create an atmosphere where clients feel heard and free to share comfortably.

Collaboratively, I work with individuals to establish and meet relevant treatment goals, alleviate symptoms which interfere with day-to-day functioning, and provide clients with the tools to ultimately become their own therapist.

I incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches based on individual needs. With extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I help individuals explore the influence of their thought patterns on their feelings and behavioral choices.

Clinically, I have worked with children, teens, and young adults with a variety of diagnoses or symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, and those in need of general social or coping skills.

I received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Miami, a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and am currently finishing up research requirements to obtain my PhD in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University.
